Business Lab accelerates growth in second stage businesses by working with them in three capacities – as a thinking partner, an acting partner, and a connecting partner. Business Lab has recently clarified and simplified the way that we describe and administer our services for second stage businesses, as shown in the diagram below.
Since 2001, our second stage business clients have chosen to work with us for a period of 4 or more years, on average. Drawing on that experience, we have defined a set of services – the Business Lab Core Services – which are the ones that necessarily remain constant over time. As businesses grow, the depth and breadth of Core Services provided may likewise grow.
Our Add-On Services are à la carte services that allow businesses to purchase supplemental, action-oriented services when and as they need them. These needs may come and go.
Our offerings also include à la carte Project-Based Services that do not require a Core Services agreement. However, some second stage businesses initially engage us for one of these project services and later enter into a deeper relationship through a Core Services agreement.
Our Connection Services are a way to expediently tap into services, beyond the scope of what Business Lab does, that are essential to second stage business growth.
